Join me Thursday, September 17th for my first official presentation. For this first talk, I chose to focus on Myco-Parasites since I've been finding so many this past summer. All photos were taken by me, so who knows, maybe I'll have more to add before it comes up! The Zoom meeting is open to the public and will be starting at 7pm. The first half-hour will be utilized for meet and greets and identifications of any recent finds anybody would like to ask about or share. And then I will be starting at 7:30. I was going to say I'll be taking over, but let's be honest, I'll be doing the IDs, so I'll hand over the mic to me when finished 😉 Hope to "see" you all there!

Bio for Mikhael Crystallah-Selk:

Ten years ago, Mikhael blew out his back working in retail. It took him three years of physical therapy to teach himself to walk without a cane. Much of that time was spent slowly walking through the woods, where he began to pay attention to the amazing diversity of fungi surrounding him. A mild curiosity soon became a passionate new (for him) field of study. He found himself fortuitous enough to be learning from experts around the world allowing him to fast-track his studies. He currently specializes in jelly fungi and taxonomy in general, volunteering hours per day pouring through observations while maintaining a full-time job as an aspiring chef.
